Wayne Slater is a guard at the nuclear power plant and an ex-CIA agent, who helped Homer when he got kidnapped.
History
Wayne was employed by the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant as a guard, replacing Larry. Homer took a liking to him although Wayne wouldn't reciprocate this feeling. Later, when Wayne was walking back to his flat in the rain, soon hail, Homer came by and offered him a lift to Moe's, which he eventually accepted. At Moe's, Snake attempted to rob the tavern, until Wayne intervened, using his CIA agent skills to foil Snake.
Wayne became good friends with the Simpson family, teaching them special moves to use when in trouble. Wayne suffered from flashbacks of his storied and violent life. When Homer was kidnapped by Victor, Wayne came to his rescue. Wayne had been responsible for killing Victor's wife in the past and when he rescued Homer he killed Victor with a blade of ice. After saving Homer, Wayne prepared to jump town but at Marge's suggestion he took work at the Springfield Department of Motor Vehicles, where he could live his life in peace.[1]
