740 Evergreen Terrace is a house in Evergreen Terrace that was inhabited by Mr. and Mrs. Winfield[1] and later Ruth and Laura Powers.[2] It is one door right from the Simpsons and two doors down from the Flanders. Sideshow Bob, disguised as Walt Warren, moved into the house, until he was arrested again. The real Walt Warren then moved out of 740 Evergreen Terrace, and the house is now occupied by a cousin of Ned Flanders, Ted Flanders.[3] Ted Flanders later moved, and Terrence and Emily moved in with their two kids. During this time, the house was renovated. After a while, they moved with many of their cool friends, leaving the house currently vacant.[4].
The Simpsons have also had another neighbor who convinced Bart to own his company.[5] Homer once had Hipster neighbors.[6]
The house had a large swimming pool.
