Maggie befriended a BB-8 droid at Jabba's Hut Jedi Preschool. The BB-8 droid tried to get Maggie her pacifier. However, Maggie almost lost it in a room full of other BB-8 droids. The BB-8 droid Maggie had befriended ended up getting battered by the others, but eventually gave Maggie her pacifier. Gerald, dressed like Darth Maul, then stabbed it in the back with his lightsaber. BB-8 later found Maggie after she had been crushed under a cabinet. Maggie told BB-8 that in Star Wars, beloved characters never died. She and BB-8 then went to a desert planet together.[2]
