History

A young Bart turned on the TV to Johnny Carson telling a story about how Boy George got arrested by the coast guard for scraping the barnacles off his dinghy.[1]

Bart and Lisa watched an episode of The Tonight Show. They didn't find the joke Carson told in his opening monologue funny but still found it fun to be up late.[2]

After his ratings dropped, Krusty came to see him at his house. He then played Tennis against Krusty in his house.

He was part of the Krusty Comeback Special. He lifted a car over his head in the show. He was then at the celebratory party at Moe's Tavern. He lifted a bench with Grampa and Jasper on onto his head.[3]

After being kicked out of The Be Sharps, Chief Wiggum watched Johnny Carson on TV where Carson asked what Gilligan, the Skipper and Chief Wiggum all had in common. He then said that they were all castaways. Wiggum then shot at his TV screen.[4]

Planet Springfield is owned by Chuck Norris, Rainier Wolfcastle, Johnny Carson's third wife and the Russian Mafia.[5]

The same clip of him from the Krusty Comeback Special was seen in the opening of The Krusty the Clown Show.[6]

During the song "Sasha is a Massive Success", a picture of Johnny Carson was seen on the wall.[7]

Johnny Carson's picture was on a captcha screen for existentialists on the Wayz website. It was one of the pictures that Lisa didn't click.[8]
