Blazing Guy is an annual week-long event held in a desert since 1986.

History

The Simpson family went to Blazing Guy for a vacation, while Bart and Milhouse went there to embarrass their teacher and the festival's Ignis for that year, Jack Lassen. While there, Bart and Milhouse used "fire retardant" on the "guy" so it would not burn. After the "guy" did not burn, Lassen was booed and stripped of his nudity. Lassen soon discovered what Bart and Milhouse did and he chased after Bart with David Silverman's flaming tuba but was stopped by Homer. Lassen was also trapped in a human prison by Blazing Guy attendees.
