Evelyn Trunch is an art teacher at Springfield Elementary School. She is very supportive and encouraging to the students, much to the dismay of Bart Simpson.

History[edit]

When the fourth grade class has mandatory art class, Bart was annoyed as he hated art. Mrs. Trunch went had Groundskeeper Willie pose nude for the students to paint and then went around complimenting everyone's art. When she got to Bart, she complimented his work too, despite Bart just drowning a grasshopper in paint and letting it crawl around the paper until it died. Her attitude towards Bart's work annoyed him.

After class, Shauna suggested that Bart try voodoo to get Mrs. Trunch off school. Bart performed a voodoo ritual with the intention of giving Mrs. Trunch a tummy ache. However, Mrs. Trunch ended up getting pregnant. Word then spread around town that Bart helped to get Mrs. Trunch pregnant.[1]

Mrs. Trunch gave her students a pop art quiz. Martin then questioned whether she meant a "Pop Art" quiz, or a "Pop" art quiz. Mrs. Trunch then told him to shut up and fill in the bubbles.[2]
