The Simpsons: Tapped Out Treehouse of Horror 2015 content update is a content update and event which was teased by EA on the game's Facebook page October 2, 2015. It was released October 6, 2015, and is the one hundred and fifth content update. It's the game's fourth Halloween event, after Treehouse of Horror XXIII, Treehouse of Horror XXIV and Treehouse of Horror XXV. It added 5 new characters, 9 new costumes, 5 new buildings, 4 new building skins and 18 new decorations. In the same update, a feature was added but released afterwards: New User Power Ups.

Spooky Campfire Level Up[edit]

Every level upgrade, you'll receive a 5% increase to the Nightmares (Act 1 and 2)/Star Spawns (Act 3) spawn rate and a new decoration. After level 41 the rate doesn't increase anymore.

The new appearance for the Simpson House that was added in the Level 55 update was released.
Two new skins, Acorn Kirk and Squirrel Luann, were added to the store for Act 2.
Holiday Homer was fully programmed.
Holiday Homer, Acorn Kirk and Squirrel Luann were added to the new characters collection "Treehouse of Horror XXVI Adults".
Rush Rates for Mechanical Ghost, Clockwork Bart, Apu's Apocalypse Jeep and Holiday Homer were reduced.
Act 2 and 3 of the event were programmed.

After defeating M'nthster at the Spooky Campfire, the game detects that he's been defeated there, setting a variable, probably fixing a glitch preventing kids from hunting nightmares.

The game now spawns the correct nightmares, fixing a glitch that spawned the incorrect ones once released.

My Brother's Keeper doesn't require A Proper Rigellian Thanksgiving Pt. 3 to be completed.
Fixed a possible bug in Fission Impossible Pt. 3.
Squirrel Luann's Show Off Her Squirrel Costume is now permanent and premium.
Early Squirrel Gets The Nut Pt. 2 now doesn't require Luann anymore if the user haven't got her unlocked, instead having Kirk Painfully Get His Costume Glued to His Groin.
The Impossible Tower can't be placed on Krustyland anymore.
Midgalaxy Crisis doesn't require A Proper Rigellian Thanksgiving Pt. 1 to be completed anymore.
Pet Cemetery, Mausoleum, Freakmobile and Hollow Snake Trunk's nightmare spawning jobs were removed.
