Hot Diggity D'oh! is the two hundred and twenty-second content update of The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was released on March 23, 2022 and ended on April 6, 2022. It requires Level 15 to start. It adds two new characters, one new building-character combo, 2 new buildings and 2 new decorations.

- The app icon and the splash screen were changed back to normal.
- The decorations limit was increased from 15,000 to 16,000.
- The trees on Fantasy Mountain Castle, Springfield Heights' Tunnel, Monorail Tunnel, Blue Monorail Tunnel, Red Monorail Tunnel, Yellow Monorail Tunnel, Homerlayas, Sergeant Thug's Mountaintop Command Post and Springfield Heights no beach were changed.
- In World's Largest Redwood Pt. 7, Recruit Community Service Workers to Fertilize was changed to Recruit Community Workers to Fertilize.
- The copyright was changed from 2012-2021 to 2012-2022.
- To log in the game one can now use Email or Phone authorization.
March 25th Update ("4_54_HotDiggityDoh_Patch1")[edit]
- In Release the Grease Pt. 2, for the task Make Sky Finger Collect Grease From Restaurants, buildings are no longer releasing grease, due to users having to wait for restaurants to finish their task time to collect, but also removing a beneficial bug where collecting from buildings counted towards the Collect Grease task.
