The Simpsons: Tapped Out "What Animated Women Want" episode tie-in content update

Wikisimpsons - The Simpsons Wiki

""What Animated Women Want" episode tie-in"
"Whacking Day 2013" 017

The sixteenth content update was released on April 8, 2013 and is an episode tie-in with "What Animated Women Want".

On April 8, 2013, a user reported that Swanky Fish and Springfield Falls had disappeared from their game, along with the player's Donut Tapped Out.png90. Many users also reported this, as well as other cases where only one of the two had disappeared. The user that originally reported the glitch later provided a solution, which was to re-install the game twice.

Gameplay[edit]

Stanky Fish Pt. 1[edit]

After installing the update
Notice "This Sunday's episode of The Simpsons on FOX features a swanky new sushi restaurant."
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png Ooh, sushi! I'm always up for eating new and exotic types of freshly-killed animals.
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png I bet they have vegetarian dishes too, like seaweed salad and steamed tofu...
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png Stop it, Lisa -- you're making me lose my appetite for sushi!
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png Why don't you go to the Kwik-E-mart and get me some raw fish to eat until it comes back?
Tapped Out Milhouse Icon.png Wait, don't episode tie-in updates usually come out on a Thursday?
Notice "They do, but we've got something even BIGGER coming this Thursday. (Shh, don't tell anyone.)"
Tapped Out Milhouse Icon.png Hey Bart! Guess what?
The player receives "Stanky Fish Pt. 1" which is to "Make Lisa Shop at the Kwik E Mart". It takes 60 minutes. The player receives total Cash.png170 and XP.png27 in reward.
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png If the fish at that restaurant is anywhere as good as this jumbo frozen fish head that expired two years ago, I'm going to be very happy!
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png ...after I'm done being very sick.

Stanky Fish Pt. 2[edit]

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png I heard that new sushi restaurant serves fish with two eyes... which is weird because the only fish I ever see around here have three.
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png That's because the water in Springfield is stagnant and polluted.
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png What we need is a waterfall! It would aerate the water, creating the environment the fish need to get healthier!
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png Pass.
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png And tastier.
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png I mean, let's do it!
The player receives "Stanky Fish Pt. 2" which is to "Place Springfield Falls". The player receives total Cash.png100 and XP.png10 in reward.
Place Tapped Out Springfield Falls.png
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png That's the lamest waterfall I've ever seen.

After Built Swanky Fish Tapped Out.png
After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png Wow, the ornate interior and new age looking exterior of Swanky Fish is impressive!
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png But I thought this was a seafood place. What's with all this rice, avocado, and... yuck! Is this seaweed?!
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png It's called Nori wrap. Sushi really is an art form.
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png But I don't want my food to be an art form. I want it to be food.
Tapped Out Lisa Icon.png Can't we at least try it once?
Tapped Out Homer Icon.png Okay, but I get to choose the restaurant the next ten times.
The player receives "Swanky Fish Pt. 1" which is to "Make Homer Dine at the Swanky Fish" and "Make Lisa Dine at the Swanky Fish". The tasks takes 5 hours. The player receives total Cash.png700 and XP.png160 in reward.

Swanky Fish Pt. 2[edit]

After tapping on Skinner's exclamation mark
Tapped Out Skinner Icon.png I haven't had sushi since my days in Nam... when I fled to Japan to avoid the fighting.
The player receives "Swanky Fish Pt. 2" which is to "Make Skinner Dine at the Swanky Fish". It takes 5 hours. The player receives total Cash.png400 and XP.png85 in reward.
Tapped Out Skinner Icon.png Ahh, I love the smell of wasabi in the morning!

Swanky Fish Pt. 3[edit]

After tapping on Comic Book Guy's exclamation mark
Tapped Out Comic Book Guy Icon.png A new sushi restaurant? Well, I don't have a Japanese girlfriend yet -- SPOILER ALERT! -- but I may as well prime my palate.
The player receives "Swanky Fish Pt. 3" which is to "Make Comic Book Guy Dine at the Swanky Fish". It takes 5 hours. The player receives total Cash.png400 and XP.png85 in reward.
Tapped Out Comic Book Guy Icon.png How come all of my jobs involve eating?

Swanky Fish Pt. 4[edit]

After tapping on Brockman's exclamation mark
Tapped Out Kent Brockman Icon.png I'm here at Springfield's latest answer to pretentious finger food: Swanky Fish.
Tapped Out Kent Brockman Icon.png Check it out today!
Tapped Out Kent Brockman Icon.png ...and cut! Okay, there's your plug. Now comp my meal.
The player receives "Swanky Fish Pt. 4" which is to "Make Brockman Dine at the Swanky Fish". It takes 5 hours. The player receives total Cash.png400 and XP.png85 in reward, ending the Swanky Fish quest line
