Level 55 is the ninety-fourth content update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was released on July 15, 2015. It introduced Declan Desmond and Herb Powell as new characters. It also introduced a new Friend Points prize, the Angel Fossil.

- The Hungry Hun, Frink's Lab, Duff Brewery, Volcano Lair, School Bus, Barney's Bowlarama, Krustylu Studios, Sleep-Eazy Motel, Rancho Relaxo, The Happy Sumo, Florence of Arabia, Lovejoy Residence, Beer -N- Brawl, Cracker Factory, Springfield YMCA, Malibu Stacy Headquarters, Lotto 'N' Liquor, Unfinished Shed, Preparatory School, Stu's Disco, Rocket Car, Powers House and Apu's Apartment can't be sold anymore.
- Barney, Miss Springfield, Hugs Bunny, Father Sean, Shary Bobbins, Mindy and Zutroy were changed from Regular Characters to the Premium Characters group.
- Zutroy was added to the Premium Male character group.
- Lou, Eddie, Mindy, Luann, Disco Stu and Sanjay were added to the Barflies characters group.
- Completing B-List Celebrities and More Business Owners now yields
1,500 and 
30 instead of 1,250 and 25. - B-List Celebrities and More Business Owners's character group screens are now split in 2 parts.
- The Homer was added to the Miscellany inventory group.
- Drink at Moe's doesn't appear if The Price of Donuts Pt. 4 is active.
- Sports Balls now tend to orbit around Stadium Entrance.
- Murderhorn is now animated.
- Invent New Tap Ball Rules is now located at Simpsons Home instead of the Stadium Entrance.
- Jockey Bart and Furious D's Ride Around Town rush rate is now for 2 characters.
- Tennis Marge's Ask Lisa / Apu / Homer to Play Tennis rush rate is now for 1 character.
- Jockey Bart and Furious D's Eat at Krusty Burger now pays out Premium and lasts 1 hour instead of 30 minutes.
- Jobs for Lugash and Crazy Cat Lady to Play in the Championship Game and Drink at Moe's now shows "Requires: Unlock" if the user doesn't have the skin or the character unlocked to be played on Tap Ball.
- Job for Lugash, Crazy Cat Lady and Fit™ Milhouse to Sign Autographs now shows Requires: Unlock if the user doesn't have the skin or the character unlocked to be played on Tap Ball.
- The Nostalgia and Kitch questline, present in the files since The Homer update, is now active and now requires Herb Stomp Pt. 5.
- Sound was added to the Taste of Duff Beer Truck when tapped.
- Skinner, Skinner's Skin Number 600 and Big Butt Skinner Balloon changed appearance.
- A new appearance has been added for the Simpson House. The skin change icon was changed for both the normal and Christmas skin. But only the Christmas skin is the only one that changed appearance in the game.
