The Simpsons: Tapped Out New Year New You is the two hundred and seventh content update. It was released on January 20, 2021 and ended on February 3, 2020. It added 1 new character, 1 new building-character and non playable character combo, 1 new character skin, 1 new building and 2 new decorations.

January 19th Update (4.47.5; "4_47_NewYears2021")[edit]
- The app icon and the splash screen were changed back to normal.
The whole game was changed back to normal and the winter wind was removed.
- A new Characters group was added, Nerds: Professor Frink, Mrs. Frink, Comic Book Guy, Akira, Kumiko, Doug, Benjamin, Gary and Jesus Christ.
- A new Characters group was added, Nerd Kids: Baby Frink.
- A new Characters group was added, Stonecutters, that includes every Stonecutters character and skin.
- For the duration of the event, Fat Chalk Outline's level requirement was removed.
- Some characters unlock sound were changed.
- If all Land Expansions are unlocked, Golden Goose Realty task can't be rushed with donuts anymore.
