The Jockeys are a group of jockeys who live in Jockey Town.

History[edit]

Homer and Bart first encountered the jockeys at Springfield Downs, when they brought Duncan to race there. Homer asked Bill and an unnamed jockey where they got the "metal deelies" (horseshoes) for their horses feet from. The unnamed jockey then asked Homer if Duncan could really run a mile and a half. After Duncan got a makeover into "Furious D", Bill and the unnamed jockey mocked his new look. However, Furious D won the race, then started to win other races too, which angered the jockeys.

Eventually, the unnamed jockey invited Homer to the Jockey's lounge for a beer. Homer was then dragged into Jockey Town where the jockeys sung "We Are the Jockeys" and told Homer that Duncan must lose his next race, or they would eat Homer's brain. Homer was then kicked out of Jockey Town where he questioned if it was just a dream. The unnamed jockey then popped out of a secret panel in the wall and told Homer it wasn't a dream and he must lose.

Homer and Bart decided against losing in the end and Duncan on the race. The jockeys then tried to kill Homer, who jumped onto Duncan to escape. As they went past their house, Marge and Lisa sprung a trap, spraying the jockeys with water. They then left the jockeys in a trash bag on the curb of the road.

Individuals[edit]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The jockeys have elements of the munchkins from The Wizard of Oz and Oompa-Loompas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
