Jake's Unisex Barbershop is a barbershop in Springfield that often changes name. It is run by Jake, an aging barber.

History

Homer visited to get his hair cut after taking Dimoxinil, a hair growth medicine.[1] When Lisa had Bart's gum stuck in her hair, and with the townsfolk's suggestions not helping, she went to Jake to get it cut out. This left her with a bald spot, however Jake restyled it to hide the spot.[2]

Bart once got a job there and was disappointed to be paid in hair.[3]

Name

The name of the barbershop changes very frequently. Its past names include Jake's Barber Shop,[4] Snippy Longstockings [2] and Jake's Unisex Hair Palace,[3][5]
