Mr. Somerset is a substitute teacher, who was Bart Simpson's substitute teacher for a time.
History
When half of the teachers at Springfield Elementary receive food poisoning and substitute teachers are forced to fill in for them for the rest of the week. Bart's new teacher, Mr. Somerset is easygoing, but pressures Bart to express his creativity. Meanwhile, the school's art's and craft's show approaches. Bart brings in a stick, hoping his new teacher will interpret it in some way, but he apparently copied off Marcel Duchamp.
