Mark Spitz is a retired American Swimmer.
History
Krusty mentioned that Mark Spitz was unable to attend Homer's Roast, but had sent a telegram. Lisa then asked who Mark Spitz was, and Bart asked what a telegram was.[1]
He is one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[2]
Behind the Laughter
Mark Spitz is best known for having won seven gold medals in swimming events at the 1972 Summer Olympics.
