Behind the Laughter

  • The Municipal House of Pancakes is a pun on the International House of Pancakes restaurant chain, also called IHOP for short.
  • The restaurant's sign is very similar to the old-style International House of Pancakes signage, which was in use before the chain adopted the "IHOP" signage style.
