Tap Ball is the ninety-second content update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It started on June 23, 2015 and ended on July 28, 2015.

The Tap Ball content update also included the Soccer Cup 2015 update, which started on June 25, 2015 and ended on June 30, 2015.

Gameplay

Event guide.

Games

Tap Ball players can level up with the use of Amateur Bucks. The higher the level of the players, the easier it is to win against lower ranked teams. If two players of equal skill play each other, a coin toss will decide who wins. The person with the higher star ranking wins.

Tap Ball games can be played with the same players every 4 hours. After a game, the player becomes fatigued and must recharge. Obesotade can be used to instantly recharge them, which can be crafted with Amateur Bucks.

In Tap Ball games, you have three options. Play, which instantly starts the matchup. Switch, which allows you two switch with another character, and Brain and Nerve Tonic, which allows you to increase the ranking of your player temporarily. Winning a Tap Ball game rewards you with Amateur Bucks and Foam Fingers.

Daily Training

Daily Training gave a different task each day. Once the task was completed, a reward was gained. If the task was completed in 24 hours, bonus currency of 800 in Act 1, 1,200 in Act 2, and 2,000 in Act 3 was also awarded.

• The cost to craft Sports Balls have been reduced from 500 or 33 to 40 or 3.
• The chance of dropping Sports Balls from the balls dropped in your town by friends has increased from 20% to 68%.
• A new community prize of 1,000 was added as 3rd prize.
• The first Community Prize, 10, now has a price of 3,266,000.
• Springfield Arms now has the price the 10 Donuts had before.
• 1000 Amateur Bucks now has the price the Springfield Arms had before.

July 9 update ("4_15_June2015_Patch4_PostLaunch")

• The Community Donuts have been awarded again, fixing the glitch that didn't award them to some people after the community reached their goal.
