Ned Flandish is the captain of the Mayflower. He appeared in a story told by Lisa.
History[edit]
After Homer got on board the Mayflower, he asked Ned Flandish where the booze was. Flandish told Homer that they had no place for drunkenness on their journey. He also said they had no place for colorful clothes, dreaming, or poetry. Flandish then accidentally made a poem, so he whipped himself on the back before applying salt to the wound.
After Moezekiel convinced Homer to drink through the booze they had below deck, Moezekiel brought Flandish to see how Homer had corrupted the sailors. Homer was then placed in some stocks as punishment. A large wave then hit the Mayflower, causing Flandish to fall and hit his head. Homer then took control of the ship, whilst drinking, to try and get it safely to the new world.
A year later, at the new world, Ned Flandish thanked Great Chief Wig-Gum for his hospitality over the year. Flandish then said that he regretted what the Europeans would do to his people, take their land and wipe them out.
