Project Q is a mecha-spider created to give Mr. Burns immortality.

History[edit]

Project Q was mentioned by Waylon Smithers when Mr. Burns wanted to use his new rejuvenator ray without testing it first. Project Q was seen sealed away in a vault with "Danger! Extreme Radiation Hazard!" plastered on it.[1]

At some point, Project Q escaped from captivity and headed towards the reactor. It turned out to be a robot spider with a face styled to look like Mr. Burns. Project Q was designed to house and sustain Burns' body and merge his brain with the robot's computer brain. However, Dr. Olberman made the cyber-brain too well and it began to think for itself. Olberman and Professor Frink created a containment field for it, which it managed to break out of.

When Project Q had taken Olberman, Frink, and Marge captive, Homer, who thought he was Radioactive Man at the time, teamed up with Leon Kompowsky, who dressed as Fallout Boy, to save them. Homer crashed through Project Q's dome and the computer brain merged with Homer's, causing it to stop rampaging. Project Q then started eating all the donuts that it could. Homer merging with the cyber-brain also cured Homer's amnesia.[2]
