Marvin the Martian is an alien.

History

When Homer saw an alien, FBI agents Mulder and Scully came to Springfield to investigate the sighting. They asked Homer to identify the alien he had seen from a lineup which included Marvin, Gort, Chewbacca, ALF and a Rigellian (either Kang or Kodos). Marvin was apparently annoyed about being in the lineup, as he said, "This makes me very angry."[1]

Marvin is also a character in the fighting video game Mixed Martian Arts.[2]

Behind the Laughter

  • Marvin the Martian is a character from Looney Tunes. He appears discolored in the lineup, presumably to avoid copyright issues.
  • "This makes me very angry" is one of Marvin's catchphrases.
