He was doing a show when the Simpson family ran in and sat on the couch. He was annoyed that they flew the Simpsons in just for that before he told the band to play.[2]
When Homer Simpson chops down a door he yelled out of the door, "David Letterman", Grampa saw him and say to him, "Hi, David, I'm Grampa."[3]
