Behind the Laughter[edit]

Birch Barlow is a parody of American talk show host and political commentator Rush Limbaugh. His first name is a reference to the John Birch Society.

He has also been a customer at Marge's prescription drug-laden "yard sale", a reference to Limbaugh's Oxycontin addiction scandal.[5]
