Robert Marlowe is the former "Accounts Man" for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
History[edit]
When Robert retired from his job, Homer replaced him. The job had cost Marlowe his family, secret other family and he missed his family's important events. He became addicted to martinis and drank a lot of Bourbon.
After Robert retired, he taught Homer the ways of an accounts man. When Homer and his family go rafting down Rattling River Canyon, Homer invites the nuclear regulators along with Mr. Burns. As their raft goes over the falls, Marlowe saves Mr. Burns from falling and Homer goes back to his old job.

Robert Marlowe is a parody of the character Roger Sterling also played by John Slattery in the TV show Mad Men.
