History
An Ask advertisement revealed there is a type of male body spray called "Elon Musk".[1]
Elon Musk goes to Springfield as he secretly toured the country in his spaceship. He landed in the backyard of the Simpsons house and met the family, quickly becoming friends with them. He asked Homer to take him to the power plant where he began to make suggestions on how to improve the plant. Mr. Burns liked his suggestions and started to put them into play, thinking they would profit him. Smithers on the other hand didn't think his ideas were good for Mr. Burns and the plant but Burns wouldn't listen to him.
In the time Musk and Burns were working together, they made a lot of changes. Electric cars started becoming popular in Springfield, the power for the school was being generated by Willie turning a wheel and the power plant was becoming more environmentally friendly and was generating more power. Eventually, Mr. Burns found out that he would start losing money from the power plant and hired hit men to take out Musk.
Homer had to break off his friendship with Elon because what they did together ended up losing his other friends their jobs and he was upset over that as they blamed him. That is when Burns elderly hit men took their chance to kill Musk, but they missed their aim and almost hit Homer, but Elon saved his life. This made it even harder for Homer to break off their friendship, but he did.
Back in the Simpsons back yard, Elon Musk got back into his spaceship after saying goodbye to everyone. He also gave Bart a working lightsaber as a parting gift. Musk set off in his spaceship, but came back to drop Lisa off, who was trying to smuggle herself aboard. He then set off again. In his spaceship, he lamented that there was one thing he would miss about Springfield, whilst playing a hologram of Homer he had made. He then cried a single tear.[2]
Musk's plans had a lasting effect on the power plant's profits.[3]
Personality
Elon Musk wants to change the world for the better, making energy cleaner and more efficient. This was seen when he made lots of changes to the Nuclear Power Plant, even though they would result in a loss of profits and his preference for electric cars, although he burns a lot of rocket fuel, as Lisa points out.
Musk doesn't seem to make many friends and he doesn't do hugging, and he was surprised when Homer hugged him. Musk also seems to really value the friendships he does have, as he formed an emotional bond with Homer and was upset when Homer told him they could no longer be friends. This heartbreak was so bad that Musk created a hologram of Homer and watched over the town, although he thought that it wasn't the same.
