Tom Landry was an American football player and coach, legendary for his successes with the Dallas Cowboys.

History

He appeared in the television special It's a Krusty Kind of Christmas alongside Krusty and South American sensation Xoxchitla. Krusty describes Landry as a "respected private citizen".[1]

Homer later bought Tom Landry's hat, and wore it on several occasions.[2]

Behind the Laughter

Landry does not have any lines in the episode, although he is part of a group singing a Christmas carol.
