Dr. Wendy Sage is a hypnotherapist and a breast cancer survivor.

History

When Lisa and Marge were having trouble with each other, Luann suggested that they go to see Dr. Sage as she fixed her and Milhouse's relationship in one session. Lisa was dubious about it because she didn't believe that hypnotherapy worked. However, when Dr. Sage got Lisa and Marge into Lisa's subconscious, Lisa realized that Dr. Sage wasn't just a "quack". After Lisa and Marge figured out Lisa's problem, Dr. Sage transported them to Marge's subconscious.

Dr. Sage worried that people thought of her as a quack.[1]

Dr. Sage was seen at the Springfield Mall.[2]

Dr. Sage was at a charity event where she was given a blue ribbon for the Lisa M. Simpson Foundation over her pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness.[3]

Behind the Laughter

Dr. Sage is a breast cancer survivor, as seen from her visible port-o-cath scar, "uniboob", and curly hair regrowing from chemotherapy.[4]
