Mike Scioscia is a retired Major League Baseball player, who played for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant softball team. He accepted the job at the plant because the job has big machines, something he likes. Despite having been hired just to play softball, he wanted to work instead. As a result, he was hospitalized because of radiation poisoning. Apparently, he not only recovered from the radiation poisoning, but the resulting radiation poisoning also endued him with "super-management powers", he can also demagnetize credit cards.
