The Mechanical Ants are a group of giant robotic ants imagined by Bart.

History

After Mr. Burns is caught dumping nuclear waste in Springfield Park, he is fined 3 million dollars. Bart imagines how this money should be spent: on an army of giant mechanical ants. In Bart's fantasy, the ants, a group of four, prove to be quite effective, destroying Springfield Elementary and even slicing Principal Skinner in half.
