Contents
Fame[edit]
On air (and presumably personally), he is a radical conservative, highlighted by his book, Only Turkeys Have Left Wings. His on air rantings are intentionally engineered to be controversial and to rile up the audience, in order to convince them to call, as does many talk back radio hosts. On his radio show, he declares himself to be "the fourth branch of government" and "the fifty-first state".[1]
A picture of Birch Barlow is on the wall at The Pimento Grove.[2]
He took part in the world's tallest human pyramid record attempt.[3]
Non-canon[edit]
The contents of this article or section are considered to be non-canon and therefore may not have actually happened or existed. |
Simpsons Mania[edit]
Birch Spent his youth on Seth and Munchie's Juice-Making Commune. However, he renounced his hippie roots when he learned that although the women on the commune believed in free love, they didn't believe it pertained to him. A strong philosophical right turn later and Birch found himself a leader in the Republican community. Now a best selling author and radio host, he uses his influence to rail against liberal politicians and organizations on a daily basis. Mayor "Diamond Joe" Quimby's success with the ladies is particularly irksome to Barlow, who considers it his duty to convince the voters of Springfield that a man with a sex drive is unfit to hold public office.[4]
