Kim Hwan is a Korean gymnast.

History

In the 1984 Olympics he competed in the rings event and made a perfect dismount on what was later revealed to be a broken leg.

Behind the Laughter

Kim's performance is a reference to Mary Lou Retton's getting a perfect 10 in her vault in the 1984 Summer Olympics despite having an injured knee.
