The girl with pigtails (also known as "the Malcontent"[1]) is a student in Bart's class who wears her hair in two pigtails.
History
The girl with pigtails is often seen in the background in Bart's class and around Springfield Elementary. Her face often carries an look of discontent. Her hair is light brown and she wears it in two pigtails. She rarely speaks. She was one of the disgusted students after Bart ate a dead frog.
Behind the Laughter
Unlike the other background characters in Bart's class, her hair color has remained consistent throughout the show and comics, and is almost always blond or light brown.
