Dr. Leonard Stern is a state psychologist.
History[edit]
Four years earlier, when Bart was acting up, he was sent to Dr. Stern. When he looked at Bart's file and saw that Bart had been attacking Homer, he concluded that Bart was a psychopath. He then pushed for an emergency court order to have Bart admitted into his facility. He offered Bart "a treat" and gave him a tray of candy-like medicine, which Bart started shoveling down his throat.
Dr. Stern later arrived at Homer's old treehouse with the team taking Bart to the mental facility. However, when Homer ate a Ritalin-laced ice cream, he managed to get his thoughts about Bart through to Dr. Stern, and he decided that Bart would choose whether he wanted to stay with his father or not. Bart wrote "I want my fat father" on a whiteboard, which moved Dr. Stern, and he decided Bart would stay with his family.
