Gomer Simpkins is a former employee of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
History
After the Simpkins family moved to Springfield from Capital City he started to work at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. After Gomer made an accident at the plant, he and his family moved towns again. Gomer was dubbed the worst employee ever, upsetting Homer as he had previously been called such, and felt special because of it.
