History[edit]
Homer first met Candace when he went to pick up a prescription for his narcolepsy. The people in front of him were all old people who took forever, which led to Homer complaining about them. Candace thought that his complaints were funny. Homer then left without picking up his prescription.
Homer and Marge then had a trial separation. During this time, Homer had to go and pick up another prescription from Candace. Candace flirted with Homer and the two of them went out together. They went to a bar and then they got high on Homer's medication. The next morning, Homer woke up in bed next to Candace, which horrified him. Homer then tried to call Marge, but got through to Selma instead who said that Marge was on a date. After hearing this, Homer decided to keep dating Candace. He and Candace went to Springfield's Best and Seattle's Worst Coffee where they met up with Candace's friends. Whilst Homer was ordering food, Candace's friends gossiped about Homer and wanted to know why Candace was together with him, with Candace realizing that it was because he reminded her of a childhood snowman she made.
Candace and Homer kept going on dates together until Candace wanted Homer to meet her father, Roger. They went to The Gilded Truffle for a meal and Roger revealed that he was also dating someone younger than him, Marge. Homer was shocked to find that Marge was dating Candace's father but tried to keep calm. Throughout the meal, Roger and Candace argued about the way he had been a bad father towards her. Roger then decided to propose to Marge, which she accepted. After this, Candace decided that she and Homer would also get married, and told Homer that she was already pregnant. This caused Homer to wake up and find that it was all a dream.
However, Homer then found out that it wasn't a dream, that he and Marge in therapy together was the actual dream. Whilst out on another date with Candace, Homer fled the bar and ran home. However, he found that Marge was happy with Roger. He then woke up and found that it was actually all a dream after all.
