She is blond, wears pigtails, and wears pink.

Usual Appearances

She is usually seen in Bart's class and her name has only been mentioned once by Mrs. Krabappel.

Criminal Record

In the changing room of Wee Monsieur, Melissa was seen attempting to shoplift a pair of socks. In the stall, she had taken off her own shoes and put on the new socks. The security guards noticed this on the security camera, and hurried out of the room carrying rifles[1].

Behind the Laughter

Melissa is a background character, and has only had one speaking role: in "Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore", where Milhouse insults Mrs. Krabappel on the bus (she was voiced by Nancy Cartwright).
