A Taste of Springfield is a food festival in Springfield.

History

The event was attended by many of Springfield's restaurants to advertise their food on different booths. Homer Simpson, restaurant critic at the time, attended the many booths, finally stopping at "The French Connection" booth where, a chef, along with many of the restaurant owners, had planned to kill Homer by making him an 1,000,000 calorie éclair with poison in it. Lisa reviewed the festival for the Springfield Elementary School newspaper.
