John Updike is an American author.
History[edit]
During the Festival of Books, Krusty was signing autographs for kids on his new book, Your Shoes' Too Big to Kickbox God. The book was written by John Updike and was only 20 pages long. Due to this, Krusty considered book writing a scam and treated John badly. When one of the kids in the queue line, Sophie, told Krusty she was his daughter, the clown could not believe it and Updike made fun of it. Krusty answered John back telling him to shut up.
