Swish is a basketball-shaped, seductively-clad female mascot who appeared at a WNBA game at Springfield Square Garden.
History[edit]
During a break in the action, the announcer said, "Now, here's something for the men to dribble over–our mascot, Swish!", and Swish sauntered down an aisle, along the way making flirtatious gestures at men seated nearby. Moe was very excited at her performance and ran up to her, accidentally knocking off the top half of the basketball and revealing that Gil Gunderson was inside the costume. Gil, crestfallen, lamented that Swish was everything he was not. Moe, however, was unfazed by the revelation and told Gil to put the head back on. Moe later asked if Swish/Gil could pretend he was a girl and then proposed marriage to him/her on the spot.
