Isabel Gutierrez is a second grade student at Springfield Elementary School.
History
Lisa met Isabel in the school's library and they instantly became friends. They did a report together only for Lisa to find that she was a republican, whilst Lisa is a democrat. The difference in political beliefs threatens their friendship - especially when they go head to head for the position of second grade class president. They both decide to put their political beliefs behind them and stay friends.
