Character Information
|
T. R. Francis is the fictional author of the Angelica Button fantasy book series, which is very popular among both children and adults in Springfield.
Biography
After Lisa chases her through the Duff Center Arena, she explains that she's merely an actress they hired to be on the dust jacket, and that T.R. Francis doesn't even exist, that the stories are just made up in board meetings.
Behind the Laughter
T. R. Francis is a parody of J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter book series.
In "The Haw-Hawed Couple", Francis was depicted as an old lady in a picture on one of the Angelica Button books. This is a major inconsistency between "The Haw-Hawed Couple" and "The Book Job".
