Dr. Lionel Budgie is a veterinarian and owner of Lionel Budgie, D.V.M..

History

After Lisa saved a raccoon he let Lisa help him at his animal hospital, taking her on as an apprentice.[1]

He later saved Plopper after getting injured by Mr. Burns' Hounds.[2]

Dr. Budgie was arrested under Springfield's new laws that put dogs lives above all others. Dr. Budgie warned everyone that if they let the dogs get their own way for too long, they would become savage and wouldn't be stopped. When this came true, Dr. Budgie was brought in front of the town to help them, and he told the town that they had to get dominance over the dogs again.[3]
