History

The original Tad Winslow

After the producers got tired of the man who played Dr. Winslow, they met Moe and gave him the role as Dr. Winslow and fired the older guy. After Moe secretly read the script for the next few episodes, he realized that his character would be killed, and along with Homer he revealed on live TV a year's worth of storylines. He then was then told that his character only died in a dream.[1]

The original Tad Winslow was seen on TV when Grady and Homer were flicking through channels with Grady telling Homer that the person who played Winslow was gay.[2]
