Cheesy McMayor is a mascot for a hamburger restaurant (name not specified) on Springfield's Fast-Food Boulevard.

History

After Fast-Food Boulevard was destroyed (in a bizarre chain-reaction explosion caused by Homer Simpson), Springfield held a memorial service/town meeting for the boulevard. Mayor Quimby, presiding over the gathering, said, "The calamity in our Fast Food District destroyed thirty-seven restaurants rated awful to mediocre, and put these beloved mascots out on the street." Quimby gestured at several restaurant mascots seated behind him wearing black armbands, among them Cheesy McMayor and Rib-It.

Cheesy, who had already been crying copiously, shed even more tears as he said, "I told myself I'd stay strong." Quimby, in an attempt to console Cheesy and get him to calm down, said, "There, there, Cheesy McMayor. No one likes weepy meat." Homer Simpson, outraged, stepped out from the audience and said, "I can't stand to see a grown burger cry!" He then gave a rousing speech in which he called for the immediate rebuilding of Fast-Food Boulevard.
