Nedward "Nedsel" "Daddio" Flanders, Sr.,[1] is the beatnik father of Ned Flanders and husband of Mona Flanders.

History

He and his wife brought Ned to Dr. Foster when they found that he was difficult to control.[2]

It is possible he served during World War II. Abraham Simpson once referred to a "Commander Flanders", when scolding Private Charles Montgomery Burns.[3]

He later attended Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel's wedding.[4]
