Helen Fielding is an American author who wrote Bridget Jones's Diary.

History[edit]

Sara Sloane invited Helen Fielding along to Marge's book club as the club was supposed to read Bridget Jones's Diary. However, it turned out that nobody else in the club had read the book. Fielding told Sara that it was okay as they had bought the book so she still got the money. Fielding then went on to say that the other members of the club probably wouldn't get the sophisticated subtlety of British humor. After this, Fielding was chased by several policemen and a man in a gorilla suit.

Later, Fielding was once again being chased by the policemen and gorilla. She went to Homer, Marge and Ned Flanders and patted Homer on the head before the three of them joined Helen Fielding in getting chased.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The chasing scenes are a reference to The Benny Hill Show which used a similar sketch.

Appearances[edit]
