Mel Lazarus is a novelist and cartoonist and a member of Mensa.
History
When Seymour Skinner welcomed Lisa to Mensa he told her that she would join such Mensa luminaries as Marilyn vos Savant, Geena Davis, and Mel Lazarus, each of whom stands at the top of their respective fields. Professor Frink then pointed Mel Lazarus out as an exception.
