Augustus "Gus" Redfield is a businessman and the owner and CEO of RedStar and former owner of Worth-A-Try Burger.

History[edit]

When Gus and Abe were young adults, they owned Worth-A-Try Burger together. However, the restaurant struggled due to a lack of customers. When Krusty the Clown bought a burger from them, he was surprised at how quickly they served him, thanks to the triple flopper spatula they used. Krusty then started working for Worth-A-Try Burger to bring in customers. However, Krusty became greedy and demanded more money than he was getting. Gus and Abe fired him and threw him in a dumpster. Soon after, Krusty patented the triple flopper himself and opened Krusty Burger, driving Worth-A-Try Burger out of business. Gus vowed to get his revenge on Krusty.

Years later, Gus became the owner of RedStar and the ninth richest man in the world. He went to Krusty Fest to confront Krusty and told him he had bought out Krusty Burger and The Krusty the Clown Show. Gus also informed Krusty that he was fired from both and couldn't even use the name "Krusty" anymore. While on stage announcing all this to the crowd, Gus mentioned his old partner, Abe. Grampa realized this was him, and he and Gus reunited. Gus then invited Grampa to join him on the board of directors for RedStar.

Gus took Grampa and Lisa to New York City so Grampa could take part in the board meetings. They were introduced to Gus' children: Colby, Mav, and Sheila. Gus showed Grampa that he had recreated their Worth-A-Try Burger in one of the rooms of his mansion, and the two of them served burgers to everyone. Meanwhile, Gus' children planned to put forward a vote of no confidence in Gus, with Sheila wanting to seize control of the company. During the board meeting, this proposal was put forward, with all three of Gus' children agreeing to it. Three other board members, Angela Merkel, Kevin O'Leary, and Charli D'Amelio, voted against it, leaving Grampa with the deciding vote. Grampa chose to stick with Gus and voted against the proposal.

After Grampa's vote, Gus revealed his true colors. He admitted he knew his children were plotting against him and had tricked Grampa into helping him. Gus told everyone he no longer cared about Worth-A-Try Burger and only wanted to stop the coup from his children. Upon hearing this, Grampa started telling crazy stories and claimed to be insane, which Lisa and Jessica confirmed, nullifying Grampa's vote. This deadlocked the board of directors, and Grampa and Lisa left the building.[1]

Augustus Redfield later joined the board of directors for LifeBoat[2] and attended the auction at Gavelby's Auction House for a bottle of Gevrey-Chambertin Wine once owned by Napoleon Bonaparte.[3]
