X't'h'k'k is an Olmec who lives in the Olmec head waiting for the return of his god, Xt'tapalatakettle.
History[edit]
X't'h'k'k had been waiting inside the Olmec head for fifty years, waiting for the return of his Olmec god, Xt'tapalatakettle. After the Simpson family received the Olmec head from Mr. Burns, X't'h'k'k befriended Snowball II on his excursions into the house to get food at night. Due to these nighttime excursions, Homer thought he was dreaming when he went to get late-night snacks and saw him. Each night, X't'h'k'k would go to Bart's room to subliminally implant the thought of becoming his successor in his head while Bart was sleeping.
One night, X't'h'k'k fell asleep in Bart's room and Bart woke up the family screaming about X't'h'k'k. When Homer saw him, he recognized him from his dreams and assumed he was still dreaming. At breakfast, X't'h'k'k explained that he had been waiting for the return of Xt'tapalatakettle in the Olmec head in his village of Qu'axialquotak. However, the head was sold to a Pottery Barn by drunken elders. When Mr. Burns gifted the head to the Simpsons, he continued living in it. Marge felt guilty as she didn't realize they had a guest staying with them and didn't put out the guest towels for him. However, she forbade him from visiting Bart in his sleep, so X't'h'k'k followed him to school instead.
The Simpson family tried to get rid of the Olmec head, but nobody would take it and it went unsold on eBuy. Bart told X't'h'k'k that he thought Homer would be a better successor, so Bart and X't'h'k'k came up with a plan to get Homer into the head by putting the television inside and leaving a trail of donuts and TV Guides leading to it. However, Homer, still thinking that he was dreaming, decided to go to the Duff Brewery naked instead.
Bart went to Lisa to get help getting rid of him and convinced her to help after pointing out that Snowball liked him more than her. Bart and Lisa went to Ned's house and dressed Bart up as Xt'tapalatakettle. Lisa then got X't'h'k'k to follow him to Ned's garage where Bart convinced him to leave the Simpson house. X't'h'k'k told the Simpsons that he had to return to his village and be with his family before the world was consumed by fire, but he needed the cost of a ticket back home, which came to $720. Mr. Burns then showed up at the Simpson house with a check for $750 for the cost of the plane ticket and cab fare to the airport. He did this because he didn't like X't'h'k'k being the oldest man in Springfield as he wouldn't get a complimentary birthday swirlee at Phineas Q. Butterfat's Ice Cream Parlor. He also revealed that he placed a listening device in the Olmec head, which was why he knew how much money X't'h'k'k needed. X't'h'k'k then went to the airport and Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie saw him off back to his village.
