Chachi is Apu's cousin.

History

Chachi's duty was to maintain the balance of the Squishee machine in the Kwik-E-Mart's secret factory. He had nightmares of his childhood in India where he was rigorously trained how to properly use a Squishee machine. Bart, Lisa, Milhouse and Martin entered the factory when they were looking for the ghost of Brain Freeze Steve. When they saw Chachi's shadow, they mistook him for Steve, and Bart hit him with a plank of wood. The subdued Chachi told the kids about his duty, so Bart attempted to do it for him, but instead fell into the Squishee machine. Apu arrived just in time to rescue Bart and aid Chachi.
