Character Information
|
Mrs. Butterworthy was a teacher at Springfield High School. It is unknown whether or not she still teaches there, or is even alive.
History[edit]
She was a "professor of domestic engineering", in other words, a cooking instructor. She taught Marge Bouvier when she was in high school. When Marge was a photographer at Springfield High, she took a picture of Mrs. Butterworthy as she was teaching a class. The lesson she was teaching was called "the extra ingredient is worry".
